Patients move along a multi-story construction scaffold, gradually approaching the edge at different heights and looking down over the side. The intensity of the exposure can be adjusted with precision\u2014from the lower levels to the greatest height. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

As an extension of this scenario, patients can enter a crane basket that slowly moves away from the building. Suspended high above the ground, they experience increasing distance from the building while having no control over the movement. For many people with acrophobia, this perceived loss of control\u2014the feeling of no longer being able to stabilize themselves\u2014is a major trigger that is difficult to recreate in a controlled therapeutic setting. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Outdoor Addiction Exposure: Alcohol and Cannabis in Everyday Situations\n\n<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The Addiction Module<\/a> has also been expanded with a new outdoor scenario in which patients are exposed to alcohol and cannabis in a relaxed summer environment. The setting can be customized, allowing the exposure to take place either while standing in cool water or while sitting comfortably on a picnic blanket. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Instead, it typically emerges in relaxed, socially meaningful situations like these, making them far more representative of real-world relapse risks than static trigger images alone.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The Text-to-Speech Manager now provides greater flexibility when preparing therapy sessions. Previously saved dialogue lines can be reordered, making it possible to structure complete conversations between patients and avatars before the session begins while still controlling them dynamically during treatment.For therapists, this means conversations can be prepared in advance without having to improvise every interaction during the session, while remaining flexible enough to adapt to each patient’s responses.
